Pricing & Billing
Billing Models
All customers are required to sign an agreement with TelQ before making any payment (whether Prepaid top-up or Postpaid invoice).
Prepaid – credits are purchased in advance.
Postpaid – invoiced monthly based on actual usage, subject to a monthly commitment.
By default, the billing model is Prepaid. Postpaid billing is available for customers with high testing volumes (1000+ tests per month) and upon approval by our account manager.
Prepaid Packages
Standard packages are available directly in your account under Top Up (below your balance).
You can purchase via PayPal (instant credit allocation) or bank transfer (credits allocated after payment confirmation).
We now offer two types of prepaid credits:
1. Prepaid Credits Without Expiration
Credits never expire.
Best option for flexible, long-term use without worrying about expiration.

2. Prepaid Credits With Expiration (Discounted Pricing)
Lower cost per test compared to non-expiring credits.
Credits must be used within one month.
Best option for high-volume, regular testing at lower rates.

Postpaid Packages
No time commitment, only 1 month termination notice.
Best suited for customers with significant volumes of testing traffic (over 1000 SMS tests per month).

How Monthly Commitment Works
The monthly commitment represents the minimum amount billed each month, regardless of usage.
If your usage is below €300 in a given month, you will still be billed €300.
If your usage is above €300, you will be billed based on actual tests at €0.30 per test.
This model ensures predictable billing and unlocks the lowest available price per test.

If your testing traffic is significantly higher than average, we can provide custom pricing tailored to your needs. Please contact our sales representative or your account manager for details.
Billing Method Clarification
A “test” is defined as a unique combination of:
Sender ID, Text, Destination (test number), Supplier, and Test ID Text.Each time you request a test, a unique Test ID is generated, which is used for billing.
Failed Tests & Back-Up Tests
No charge for tests that fail due to unavailability of our test numbers.
If a number goes offline during your request, we automatically re-route the test to another number in the same destination (back-up test) at no extra cost.
You can disable this feature if you prefer. If no alternative number is available and the back-up option is off, the credit for the failed test is automatically returned to your account.
